The LS trim features 17-inch steel wheels with covers and body-colored heated and power-adjustable mirrors. The 1RS trim adds sporty elements, including 18-inch machined two-tone wheels, RS badges, and black bowtie emblems. The LT includes LED daytime running lamps and roof rails.

The performance-focused 2RS features 19-inch black-painted machined two-tone wheels and unique RS styling. The ACTIV trim includes 18-inch black-painted aluminum wheels and a black grille with titanium-color chrome accents. LED projector headlights with auto high beam assist come standard across all models.

The 2025 Trax uses a 1.2-liter turbocharged ECOTEC three-cylinder engine generating 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission sends power to the front wheels. For 2025, the engine gains E85 flex-fuel compatibility, giving you more fuel options. The direct injection system and variable valve timing help optimize performance and efficiency.

The 2025 Trax accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 8.8 seconds. EPA fuel economy ratings show 28 mpg for city driving and 32 mpg on highways, with a combined rating of 30 mph. Its 13.2-gallon fuel tank provides a driving range of up to 369.6 miles in city conditions or 422.4 miles on highways. The front-wheel-drive configuration and sport-tuned suspension on select trims help deliver responsive handling.

Despite its compact footprint, the Trax maximizes interior space with 41.9 inches of front legroom, 39.6 inches of front headroom, and up to 54.1 cubic feet of total cargo space when the rear seats are folded. Rear passengers get 38.1 inches of headroom and 38.7 inches of legroom. While the seats feature cloth upholstery, you can upgrade them to synthetic leather. Heated front seats add extra comfort during cold weather. The flat cargo floor and 60/40-split folding rear seats make loading cargo simple.

The intuitive infotainment system features a standard 8-inch touchscreen or an 11-inch display on LT and higher trims. All models also include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Higher trim levels add an 8-inch digital instrument panel and wireless device charging pad.

The Chevy Safety Assist package comes standard on every 2025 Trax, providing forward collision alert, automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, lane-keep assist with lane departure warning, following distance indicator, and IntelliBeam auto high beams.

Other standard safety equipment includes an HD Rear Vision Camera, StabiliTrak electronic stability control, and six airbags.
