Trim Levels (Exterior)
The LT trim includes the Midnight and Sport Special Editions with black styling elements throughout, including a black grille, black Traverse badging, and black Chevrolet bow ties. These editions roll on 20-inch high-gloss black-painted aluminum wheels.
The Z71 trim focuses on off-road capability with its Twin-Clutch all-wheel-drive system and terrain-specific driving modes. It stands out with specialized suspension damping and all-terrain tires.
All models, including the High Country and RS trims, come standard with the AutoSense power liftgate. All Traverse models maintain consistent off-road angles, with a 15-degree approach angle, 22-degree departure angle, and 6.7 inches of ground clearance.
Engine (Power)
The 2025 Traverse features a turbocharged 2.5-liter I-4 engine across all trim levels. Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, this new engine generates 328 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 326 pound-feet of torque at 3,500 rpm.
This new engine setup marks an improvement over the previous generation's 3.6-liter V-6, which produced 310 horsepower. The new turbocharged engine delivers more power while using a smaller displacement.
Performance
The 2025 Traverse accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 7.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 125 mph. Fuel economy varies between drive configurations, with front-wheel-drive models achieving 20 mpg city and 27 mpg highway. All-wheel-drive versions return 19 mpg city and 24 mpg highway.
All Traverse models come with standard trailering equipment and can tow up to 5,000 pounds, making them capable of hauling boats, campers, or other recreational equipment.
Interior
The 2025 Traverse offers a maximum cargo capacity of 98 cubic feet, leading its class in storage space. A 17.7-inch infotainment touch screen with Google built-in compatibility and an 11.0-inch digital gauge display come standard on all models. Every trim includes a wireless smartphone charging pad.
The LT trim offers seating for up to eight passengers with its second-row bench seat option. Other trims come standard with second-row captain's chairs. The RS and High Country trims add convenience with one-touch folding second-row seats and power-folding capabilities for both second and third rows.

Certain vehicles may be excluded. 24-Hour Extended Test Drive: Eligible customers may request to keep an eligible vehicle for up to 24 hours for an extended test drive. Extended test drives must be requested and approved in advance and are subject to dealership approval. Before taking possession of the vehicle, the customer must present a valid driver's license and proof of current automobile insurance acceptable to Hessert Chevrolet and complete and sign Hessert Chevrolet's required 24-Hour Extended Test Drive Agreement. The vehicle may be operated only by the customer and any other driver expressly authorized in writing by Hessert Chevrolet. The vehicle may be used only for lawful, ordinary personal transportation. Prohibited uses include, but are not limited to, racing or performance driving, off-road use, towing, hauling, rideshare or other commercial use, delivery services, transportation of hazardous materials, or permitting any unauthorized person to operate the vehicle. A maximum of 100 miles may be driven during the 24-hour extended test-drive period. The customer is responsible for complying with all terms and conditions of the applicable Extended Test Drive Agreement and for the vehicle while it is in the customer's possession, including responsibility for loss or damage to the extent provided by that agreement and applicable law. The 24-hour extended test drive is provided at no charge; however, completion of the required agreement and satisfaction of all eligibility, insurance and other requirements are conditions of participation. Any purchase, lease, financing, trade-in, credit or other transaction terms are separate from the test-drive program and are subject to applicable agreements, lender or lessor approval, required documentation and applicable law. Participation in an AT HOME test drive does not constitute an offer, commitment or agreement to sell, lease or finance a vehicle on any particular terms.
