2025 Chevy Silverado 1500
The 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 continues to be a top choice in the full-size pickup segment, offering a combination of power, technology, and versatility. The Silverado 1500 delivers capability for work and personal use through multiple trim levels and engine options.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The WT trim provides exterior features suited for daily work duties. The Custom model adds LED bed lighting plus heated and power-adjustable side mirrors. For improved visibility, the LT offers LED headlights. The RST trim features blacked-out trim elements and body-color bumpers. All-terrain tires, a raised suspension, and protective underbody skid plates come standard in the Custom Trail Boss version. The LTZ includes chrome exterior accents and a power-operated tailgate. The LT Trail Boss trim combines LED headlights with off-road capability through its lifted suspension and skid plate protection. Premium touches, such as a unique grille design and chrome assist steps, are featured in the High Country model. The range-topping ZR2 maximizes off-road performance with 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT tires and a 2-inch factory lift.
Engine (Power)
The 2025 Silverado 1500 offers four engine options. The turbocharged 2.7-liter I-4 produces 310 horsepower and comes standard on the WT, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT, RST, and LT Trail Boss trims. The 5.3-liter V-8 delivers 355 horsepower and is included in the LTZ and High Country models and optional on other trims. For maximum power, the 6.2-liter V-8 generates 420 horsepower and can be equipped on the RST Crew Cab four-wheel-drive, LT Trail Boss, LTZ four-wheel-drive, ZR2, and High Country four-wheel-drive models. The Duramax 3.0-liter Turbo-Diesel produces 277 horsepower, coming standard on the ZR2 and is available on multiple trims.
Performance
The 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 achieves a maximum towing capacity of 13,300 pounds when properly equipped, and the maximum payload rating reaches 2,260 pounds. The 6.2-liter V-8 High Country version reaches 60 mph in 5.4 seconds, while the 5.3-liter V-8 models complete the sprint in 6.1 seconds. An eight-speed automatic transmission is paired with rear-wheel drive, and a 10-speed automatic operates with four-wheel-drive systems. The ZR2's Multimatic DSSV dampers provide precise control during off-road adventures.
Interior
The WT trim includes a 7-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The LT and higher trims upgrade to a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and 13.4-inch touchscreen, and they include heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, Google-based voice controls, and dual-zone climate control.
